Adding New Zone

Introduction

Zones are used to display different type of media (videos, images, flash etc.). Besides the primary zone, other zones can be added to the campaign.

Adding a new zone to a campaign

There are two ways you can add a new zone to a campaign. The first way is by clicking on the button ‘Zones Layout’ from the left navigation menu. From the drop-down menu, select ‘Add Zone’ and click on ‘Zone’ from the next submenu.

The second way is by clicking on the button ‘Zones Layout’ from the right-click context menu. From the drop-down menu, select ‘Add Zone’ and click on ‘Zone’ from the next submenu.

Once this button is clicked, a new zone is added in the zone preview and the new zone workspace for this zone opens. In the workspace of the new zone, different types of media can be added in the same way as in the primary zone.

Above and below the zone preview section are shown properties of the selected zone. The user can manually enter (change) values for all these fields:

Canvas Width (px)	This gives the width of the preview zone in pixels. Value can be added manually from the keyboard.
Canvas Height (px)	This gives the height of the preview zone in pixels. Value can be added manually from the keyboard.
Position X (%)	Here you can change the percentage value of the position of the selected zone by X-axis, also the percentage value can be added manually from the keyboard.
Position Y (%)	Here you can change the percentage value of the position of the selected zone by Y-axis, also percentage value can be manually changed from the keyboard by adding appropriate value in the white box.
Width (%)	This gives the width of the selected zone in percent. Percentage value can be changed manually from the keyboard.
Height (%)	This gives the height of the selected zone in percent. Percentage value can be changed manually from the keyboard.

Also, multiple zones can be added to the campaign.

All options for the selected zones are placed in the Zones Layout section in the right context menu (see picture below).

1	Remove Zone	Select this to delete the selected zone.
2	Rename Zone	Select this to rename (change the name of) the selected zone.
3	Primary Zone	Select this to set selected zone as Primary zone.
4	Bring to front	Select this to bring to front selected zone.
