Command Details View Panel

Introduction

Details view panel can be used to get a snapshot of the Command state and also provides the user the ability to monitor Command distribution to the players throughout the network.

Details View Panel Explained

To open the Details view panel, simply select Commands from the left navigation menu. Select any command from all Commands list view and automatically Details Panel will be shown on the right side of the page. If you click anywhere else on the page, the panel will be automatically closed.

The panel provides a snapshot of the Command and its current state. Every section of the details view panel is explained below.

Command Label

At the top of the Details view panel, some general information is provided about the state of the selected Command.

Command Name – shown in the panel header title with bold letters.

When

The When section of the Details View shows the schedule of the Channel. In order to change this value, you need to edit the Command, save it and then reopen the Command Details View to see the updated schedule.

For recurrent schedule and other complex schedules, appropriate information will be provided in this section. Only valid start and end time of the Command schedule will be shown in this section.

Where

The Where section of the Details View shows the target Channel of the Command. In order to change this value, you need to edit the Command, save it and then reopen the Command Details View to see the updated target Channel.

Are we there yet?

This section enables a user to monitor the distribution of Commands, to the players in the target Channel list. Different aspects of this section are defined below.

1Latest actionThis shows the number of channels and players (devices) to which the Command has been published to. For example, if two players are configured with the same channel, then once the Command is published to this Channel, the text will show Publishing to 1 channels (2 devices).
2Channel nameThis shows the target Channel to which the Command has been published to.
3Player name and statusThis shows the name of the player device as well as the player status i.e., online, offline, inactive, blocked. The status will show the Last Seen value as well for the player.
4Distribution progressThe progress bar will show the status of Command distribution. If Command is fully downloaded, then it will show 100%. The accompanying text will also show whether a player is online, offline, blocked or inactive.
