Publish Commands

Introduction

New or existing Commands can be published from either navigation menu or context menu. When Commands are published, the publishing process goes through a sequence of events before the publish process is successful: publishing, syncing and distributing. While publishing and syncing relates to the communication between CampaignManager Web and CM Service, distributing relates to players downloading the Command from the service. If the Command is published to a number of players and few of the players are offline, then the Command will remain in distributing state until all players have downloaded the Command or it expires, whichever happens first.

Once the Command is successfully published and a message is shown for successful publishing, open all Commands list view page to view the Command. To view the status of the Command distribution to the remote players, select the Command in the list. Automatically while the command is selected Details view panel is shown on the right side of the page. In the Details View panel, you can monitor the distribution progress of the Command to the players. Expand Are we there yet section to view the progress of the Command distribution. If the players have fully downloaded the Command, then the progress bar will show 100% Complete. For any other issues with distribution, an appropriate message will be displayed.
