Intel Mesh enables services for remote control of another device, managing files and etc. It serves us to make a quick fix from different location, check if everything is running fine.
If you are subscribed for this feature, then the service administrator already configured it in the realm mode. Even configured, the remote device management feature is disabled by default.
How to enable the feature:
- Go to Domain Control Panel
- Open the Remote Access Settings tab
- Check the option under Remote Access
- Press Save
- Start your player
- Wait for 5 to 10 minutes for the service to install the remote features agent on players device.
You will know that everything is installed when the links under Player Tasks becomes enabled.
There are eight commands under Player Tasks for devices that support remote management:
Remote Desktop - From this page the Domain Admin can manage the remote desktop of the selected online device. Click on Remote Desktop and press Connect.
File Explorer - From this page user can see the file system of the remote machine and manage files like add or remove a file, or replace a file to another folder. Click on File Explorer.
NOTE: When you enter File Explorer it connects you automatically and shows you available disks. By clicking on them you can extend and go to the path that you want.
Show Desktop - In this page user can monitor the screen activity of selected devices.
You can also monitor one or more devices by selecting the devices and click on the Screen Show icon from the navigation menu.
