Create a Media template, hover on Social Integration button from the left menu. To integrate with Instagram social network click on the second option 'Instagram' from the 'Social Integration' drop-down list.
After clicking modal window will be shown with three radio buttons (options) available: Latest Posts, Post with comments and Instagram Hashtag. If the first option is selected then on the Player by default will be shown the latest three posts from the specified page, while selecting the second option will show specific post along with the comments from this post. The third option will allow the user to enter hashtag word that will show on the Player by default the latest three public posts containing that hashtag. In the bottom of the modal window is the Settings section, where the user has two available fields in which he can enter the duration (play time) of the Posts/Comments (in seconds) and the number of Posts/Comments.
At the bottom of the modal window is one checkbox 'Enable approval process'. This option can be used if the user wants to manually approve all posts from the selected page before they are published to a Player. If this option is enabled all media from the selected page will be shown in Social Media Post Approval page in the appropriate Media template once the template is used in a Campaign and published to a Player. All posts and media not older than 3 days will be listed and the user can manually select to approve or reject each post/media individually. Only approved posts/media will be shown on the Player.
In the modal window are two buttons available OK (disabled until all required fields are filled) and Cancel. After required fields are filled with valid data (Page, Post ID or Hashtag) then OK button will become available. After this button is clicked, loading animation is shown briefly and after that message for successful integration will be shown:
If you save changes and refresh the page in the tooltip (on hover) info message for the selected text Zone will be shown the proper information about the social media integration:
First, you copy the Page ID (Instagram Name) from the
Instagram page, in our case is 'NBA':
Paste the Page ID in the modal window.Follow the instructions above to configure your settings and click OK.
Create Campaign and go to Add Media → Media templates and select the template name that you just created.
After you publish the campaign your screen will look like this image(with different content).
First, you copy the Post ID from the Instagram page (click on the Post itself and copy the Page ID from the URL, demonstrated on the image below):
Insert the copied number from the post URL in the modal window in the field Post ID (click on Social Integration button and select Instagram from the drop-down list, check the second tab 'Post with comments')
Depending on what do you want to be shown use the appropriate social key from the drop-down list in the text editor. Click on the text Zone name and insert (select from the drop-down list) following social keys: 'Comments-text' and 'Posts'. Selecting these keys will allow comments and Posts (text and media) to be shown on the Player.
After you publish the campaign your screen will look like this image.
This option will show the most recent posts that contain the entered hashtag from Instagram
pages. Click on Social Integration button and select Instagram from the drop-down list, check the last tab Instagram
Hashtag and enter the appropriate hashtag in the field Hashtag, in our case is 'chicago'. NOTE: You don't have to
insert the '#' sign, only the text is required.
Depending on what do you want to be shown use the appropriate social key from the drop-down list in the text editor. Click on the text Zone name and insert (select from the drop-down list) social key 'Posts'. Selecting this key will allow Post-text and Post-Media to be shown on the Player.
Note that only latest (most recent) three posts will be shown on the Player. Because we didn't enable (check the 'Enable approval process' checkbox) approval process, all media will be automatically shown on the Player after Campaign, where the template is imported, is published.
