Random by durationSelect this to ensure that all media items in the playlist will play in random order. How many media gets to play in each Playlist cycle is determined by the Duration field. Playlist Duration can be changed independently of the total media duration. For example, if a Playlist has 3 media and each media has a duration of a 7 sec, then if the total duration of the playlist is set as 14 sec, then in each cycle only 2 files will get to play. The entire playlist pool will get exhausted in two cycles.
Randomly count basedSelect this to ensure that all media items in the playlist will play in random order. How many media gets to play in each Playlist cycle is determined by the Play Count field. The entire playlist pool will get exhausted in two cycles. All files will play in the same order (defined by Order column in the listview) as they appear in the Playlist.
Time SynchronizedSelect this to ensure that all media items in the playlist are time-synchronized. Two or more screens (or sound cards) will play exact same content with minor millisecond different in visual provided they have same campaigns published and have exact same system clock settings. For example, if a Playlist has 12 media and each media has a duration of 10 sec when the first player is started, will start playing one of the playlist items and continue playing the campaign as a normally ordered playlist. If we started the second player after a certain time. The second player will begin playing the campaign from the same file as is currently being shown on the first player. Both players will play the exact same media regardless of when players were started. Duration field is disabled for this Playlist type.
