Playlist Publish

When a Playlist is added to a Campaign’s zone playlist, any changes made to the playlist needs to be updated on the Campaign. For ease of usage, Campaign Manager offers a feature that enables the user to update the associated Campaign(s) from the Playlist workspace. The feature also allows the user to update and then publish the associated Campaign(s) from the Playlist workspace.

When changes are made to the Playlist workspace, you can update and publish the related Campaigns from the navigation menu. Click Save to save the Playlist changes first. To update and publish the related Campaigns, select Update and Publish related Campaigns from Playlist navigation menu.

Click Update and Publish related campaigns to update and publish the playlist. During the process of Update and Publish related campaigns in the right bottom corner will appear notification.

This updates and publishes the related Campaign(s). If the Campaign(s) is in a published state, it will republish it. Task dialog informs the user that Playlist was successfully published and Playlist will remain read-only until synchronization has completed. No changes can be made while Playlist is in a read-only state. Also despite the name of the Playlist in brackets the publishing state is shown.

After publishing process, Playlist workspace is opened and changes can be made again. Also, the information about publishing despite the name of the Playlist is not there anymore.
