Searching History

In Campaign Manager, history is recorded on three levels: realm level, domain level and project level. All actions related to realm are recorded in realm level history. This includes creating a domain, modify domain, change domain features, license activation etc. For a detailed discussion of the realm level history, please refer to Realm Administration Guide. All domain level actions are recorded in domain level history. If a user has both domain and project level permissions (user is set as a DomainAdmin), then all his domain level actions will be recorded in domain history while all project level actions will be recorded in project history.

To search domain level history, open History from Project Explorer under Domain tree view.

The workspace will open; labeled as History (Domain) to differentiate it from the project history.

Click on the search box in the top right corner on the home menu; enter a search text string in the search control. All history records with matching string in the entity name will be returned in the filtered search result. The search text will be highlighted in yellow. Let us call the following image as image 1 which will be referred to in subsequent discussion throughout this article.

To retrieve the entire full history delete the search string. This will clear the search control and return all domain history records.

To search project level history, open History from Project Explorer under Project tree view. The workspace is labeled as History (Project) to differentiate it from domain history.
