Tickers are entities in the Campaign Manager used for displaying static and dynamic text content. The main advantage of the ticker is that it could be created and displayed separately of the campaign, and it could run over multiple campaigns.
To open Ticker workspace, click on the icon in the red square like in the picture below:
After clicking on the icon, the following window will appear:
Initially, there are three ways to create ticker:

After choosing one of the ways for creating Ticker, the following window will appear:
Enter the name of the Ticker, click Create, and then the following window will appear:
Tickers are standalone entities which contain five sections: What, When, Where, Settings and History. The default view of opened or created Ticker is What Section.
What Section is divided in two parts: Content and Ticker Property. This section is responsible for entering and modifying Ticker’s content.
Content part is responsible for entering text content for the Ticker. This sections is divided on Static Content and Automatic Content. The default view of the Content part is Static Content.
Static Content is responsible for displaying static text. Textbox for entering static text is under Static Content subtab.
Automatic Content is responsible for displaying rss feeds.
To add rss feed click on the Add button under Automatic Content sub tab, and the following window will appear.
Replace http://service.ryarc.com/sample/tickertest.rss with another rss url then click Ok. Newly added rss feed will be available under Automatic Content.
To delete an rss feed, select the rss and click on the Remove button, like in the picture below:
Ticker Property is responsible for changing appearances, styles of the Ticker bar and text content. Features for changing appearances and styles are located in two places: part are below Ticker Property sub section, and others are in the navigation bar. To open it, click on the icon in the red square.
Options under the Ticker Property are numbered from one to six, while the 7th represents the Additional Ticker properties.

After opening Additional Ticker properties, the following slide menu will appear.
For every Ticker property, there is a description in the table below:

The When section gives information for the starting and the ending time of the ticker. In the bottom of the when section workspace, there's information like Total play time of the ticker, Description, Total occurrences of the ticker and etc.
Specific schedule can be added from the ribbon tab to the when section, Basic schedule or Recurrent schedule can be created for individual ticker.The schedule type part is used to choose between Basic or Recurrent schedule. There are two buttons from we can choose the Schedule type.
The Basic Schedule type has schedule range tab like on the picture. Starts and ends fields are available, from calendar box start and end dates can be selected, time can be added manually from the keyboard.
After selecting Recurrent Schedule type, new Recurrent Schedule Editor window opens up.
In this window, the Recurrent Schedule can be created with specific conditions. This editor window has three parts: Schedule range, Daily play times pattern and Recurrence pattern. In Schedule range, start date can be selected from the calendar box. There are two radio buttons available for the end date:
1. “End after X occurrences” - number of occurrences can be added to the white box
2. “End by date” - from calendar box end date can be selected
The Daily play times pattern include various options. The First options is “Occurs once at specific time” (the value is provided by the user entering appropriate time in the white box). The other option is “Occurs every”. When this radio button is selected, the white box became enabled with dropdown menu to choose: hours, minutes or seconds. Two new fields appears under dropdown menu called: “Between” and “And” (these fields define the time range when the ticker will occur).
Two radio buttons are available in the bottom of this section:
1. Single loop – ticker will play once
2. Looping for – ticker will play for time defined by the user
The Recurrence pattern part allows to choose: Daily (Every X days, every weekday), Weekly, Monthly and Yearly pattern. Selecting any of provided options appropriate settings will be opened.
If recurrent schedule type is selected in when section, pattern tab is available. As soon as “Edit Recurrence” option becomes available, select this option to edit recurrence for the ticker. In the “Schedule Range” section, starts and ends date can be selected from calendar boxes.
The schedule exception is used to define an exception to the starting and ending schedule. An exception can be added only in the frame of the starting and ending time.
The “Addition” option is used to add extra time in a day and the “Exclusion” is used to exclude a portion of the time. The “Remove” button is used to remove an addition or exclusion. The “Remove All” button is used to remove all exceptions.
Target channel is added to where section. This section is divided into two parts: Available Channels list and Targeted Channels list. If the project has existing channels, then these channels will appear under available channels list.
By default, target channel list will be empty. Between these two parts, there are few buttons: Add selected channel, add all available channels, Remove selected channel and Remove all targeted channels. Using this buttons, one or multiple channels (using SHIFT or Ctrl key from keyboard) or all channels can be moved from available list to target list and vice versa. The channels are moved from one list to another, and is removed from the source list and added to the destination list. The same channel cannot exist in both lists.
In this area are shown some settings for the ticker. This section contains two parts: Ticker Details and Remote Interaction.
Ticker Details shows a textbox to change the name of the ticker. Edited value should show when the ticker was last edited. Priority by default should be normal. Priority can be changed from the combo box. It will include the following values: lowest, low, normal, high and highest.
Remote interaction is the second part in Settings section. This settings enable a user to remotely turn on or turn off a published tickers from the player. Two options can be selected under this settings: Default published behavior is Active and Default published behavior is Inactive.
History shows all the changes that have been done to this ticker. History list view shows the entities described in the table bellow:

There is a search box in the history section. Bellow the search box there are three buttons: Selected user, Selected date and Selected verb, which gives filtered results for the history. By selecting any row in the history table, these buttons become enabled. The first button gives results for the history filtered by selected user, the second one gives results filtered by selected date and the last button gives results filtered by the selected verb. When selecting any of these buttons, the yellow bar appears under the search box with a link to retrieve all items. Select that link to retrieve all items in the history list or select the button again to retrieve all items.
